She is a resident of Virginia Beach, VA and a graduate of Norfolk State University, with certification in mathematics from Coppin State University. With thirty-five years of experience in the school systems of Portsmouth, Baltimore, and Norfolk, she retired in June of 2008 as a sixth grade math teacher at Lafayette Winona School in Norfolk where Mrs. Cassandra Goodwyn is the principal. Mrs. Bacon truly loves teaching and the rewarding opportunity to shape the minds of our future generation.
